I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Chris Rouleau in his studio in June.  It was dressed in hand lettering, kitschy signs, and of course, giant letters.

 

 

There’s something of an art to hand-lettering, sign-painting and design that Chris lead me through as we took photos.

 

Afterwards we took a few casual photos in the park and around, including at his murals that he has done throughout the city of Toronto.

 

It was a lot of fun to stage creative photos, and then get onto the street for some more natural shots with Chris.
